Nath & Holly – Oxford City Centre, Oxfordshire
On the 11th of February 2023, I found myself in the beautiful and historic city of Oxford, shooting the wedding of Nath and Holly. I’ve known Nath for a while now, working with him for the past couple of years so when I was asked if I would be their photographer, I was excited to do it!
As soon as I found out that they were getting married in Oxford, I knew where I wanted to get some of the formal couples photos! Xen and I had recently been into the city and got some photos at the same place and when I found out the different locations we’d be going to, it was even better as one of them was directly across the road from where I wanted to get them – using the old architecture of Oxford as the background to some of their photos sounded ideal to me.
The day was fantastic, I had a great time meeting the family and friends of Nath and Holly and at times it felt more like I was another guest than working the day which I never thought I’d feel like! I think this was due to a combination of being super comfortable with the camera, the location and being around such great people that made me feel welcomed! Oxford was a really great location from a wedding photography perspective and I hope to do more there in the future.
From a photography point of view, I had a great time and was really happy with the photos that I got from the day! I loved photos from different times throughout the day and that really made me feel confident as the day progressed. Some of my favourite photos will be shown below and I really hope that I made lots of people smile as they looked through the gallery that I sent them!
